The guide › Tickets
The official ticket sale for Burgas 2027 has not opened. The EBU’s published guidance says only that tickets will go on sale “early 2027”, without a date, a category list or a price. What is already known is the machinery around the sale, and it matters more than the date.
The account is the first filter
Buying a ticket requires a free Eurofan account, the contest’s official fan platform. The account is free, and it is mandatory: the sale is not open to anonymous checkout. In 2026 the sale also ran through a queue system, which is how a contest that sells 95,000 tickets can exhaust its inventory in under an hour.
Four tickets, then the resale
In 2026 each order was limited to four tickets, and the official resale platform — fanSALE — resold tickets at face value only. The two rules work together: the limit stops a single buyer from clearing a block, and the face-value resale stops the secondary market from becoming the reference price. Whether the same limits apply in 2027 has not been confirmed.
What the tickets cost in 2026
| Route | Price | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Official, 2026 | €10 – €363 | Depending on show and category (Eurovisionworld); ORF quoted €15 – €360 |
| Secondary, semi-final, standing | €295 | Listing observed for 2026 |
| Secondary, Golden Circle | €1,147 | Listing observed for 2026 |
| Secondary, category A | up to €2,758 | Listing observed for 2026 |
| Official, 2027 | not announced | The EBU has published no price |
Secondary-market figures are asking prices observed for the 2026 contest, not averages. They are shown to give the order of magnitude, not a forecast for Burgas.
Why the Burgas sale may be tighter
Burgas is a smaller host city than Vienna, and the arena is smaller than a stadium: 4,100 seats in its sports configuration, 6,100 with the telescopic stands, and up to 15,000 for a concert — with the Eurovision capacity, lower than the concert figure, still unpublished. At the same time the Bulgarian tourism institute expects more than 80,000 visitors in the city and the region. The ratio between demand and seats is the reason the sale date matters.
What to do before the sale
- Create the Eurofan account now, not on the day of the sale.
- Decide which of the nine shows you want: the three live broadcasts, or one of the six rehearsals.
- Do not book a non-refundable flight before you have a ticket; the accommodation squeeze is already priced in.
- Treat any “guaranteed ticket” offer published before the official sale with caution: the EBU has not released a price, a category or a seat map.
